Woo! Unemployment!
My boss laid me off because 1) the shop has no work ever, 2) he spazzed and quit the job he was working so he could pay me 3) he's a cockbag.
I am currently unemployed, looking for a job, and loving every minute of it. I have been so burnt out on doing tech support work lately it's absurd. I have an interview for employment at BestBuy tomorrow as a PC Salesman, I don't know if I want it or not, I'm espically worried because its almost 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep.
What else is happeneing, Bonnaroo happened last month. That was amazing, Andrew Bird in concert owns me. I'm too tired to even think right now, but I cannot sleep.

Did you ever have one ofthose days where you realized you're going to do nothing of any importance in your entire life? I am today.
I woke up late for work, came in for 9:30, started working and turned on the TV because I realized i put my tivo on standby and was probably not going to get icons recorded. The first one on was Music Makers. This episode was incredibly awesome, and also makes me want to just give up at life. Tommy Talrico, the guy who i want to punch in the face for being responsible for shows like The Electric Playground and Judgement Day, apparently is this INCREDIBLY well known game music maker. He made all the music for Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, and Prince of Persia! How is this humanly possible! How can someone who makes such crappy TV make such great game music. He's done other things but I was blown away to see that he has done music for games I actually really like.
He did this all at like the age of 23. I'm really depressed by the fact that I know at 23 I'll be luck if I've gotten out of college alive and secured a ho hum job with some computer agency or at some highschool in Pennsylvania. Fucking Hell. Way to completely waste a human existance. The last thing this world needs is another idiot tech guy. Why can't I do something that will be around for a million years to come and be remembered by millions of people?
Being average sucks.

So Things.
I reorganized again. It's cozier in my room now, makes me less likely to stab things when im upset.
I set up my media center finally? Kind of? It's more or less just an overly elaborate way for me to watch TV now. Oh and it works like a Tivo, but it records things in a balls format so converting = for balls. Oh It also is a way to use that stupid HotRod Joystick I bought I guess..
School isn't so bad this semester. I don't hate all of my classes, I just feel kind of over whelmed lately. It's my own fault really, I'm not doing badly, I just need to get my motivation back. It's coming thankfully, I'm going to do great this semester.
Work is so much balls. I really do appriciate the fact I have a job working on computers (and game consoles now! I got to fix a PS2 yesterday at work then playtest it! Glee!) but there isn't enough to do. I can feesably work 4 - 5 systems at a time, because scans and analasys (that's spelled terribly) take time, i can work one while another scans. I'm damn good at what I do. The problem is, we're lucky to get five systems in in 2 days. I sit around bored a lot. I've been taking my PSP just to pass time lately. Also, hate! hate! hate! going out to client sites, espically when my boss is in the office doing nothing. He checks his emails about a million times a day, and i can understand it to an extent because clients email him but mostly its these kinds of emails:

Get the picture? So meanwhile, when I'm on site, I have to charge 65 dollars an hour, of which I see 7. Fair? No.
I appriciate what he's doing for me, but I am not a people person, I never claimed to be, In fact I remember telling him that I don't want to deal with people, I just want to work on computers. That's all I want out of life is to work on computers. Or game consoles. well, at this point they're almost the same thing.

Xavier Lives! My New PC is almost done, its running on a little ATI 9250 PCI card now until next week when i get that 6800GT from lee to hold me off till i can actually afford my 7800GT, but hes rock solid and ready to go.
Other news includes, the best of all christmases (is that a word?)
Ginny = best presents ever, New Thermaltake XASER Armor case, entire run of the Sin City comics, and Serenity DVD, rock.
Parents = PSP, 1 gig stick for said PSP, bunches of accessories, Star Wars BF II.
Other gifts included:

x. Misc Clothes
x. Episode III DVD
The list goes on, I'm sure I'm missing some things.
My grades didn't get emailed to me? I got a B in linux, i know i failed math, i passed history and english though, i need to buy books for next semester plz. I also found out I have a nutso sociology professor, and I might have the same comp class as Melissa? That would rule hardcore.
Other things are probably happening that I'm forgetting about. Um. LAN on the 7th, excite. Seth isn't coming because he's going to phantom of the opera?

Not that I have anything against musicals, because i love them, (Mark Icon, Duh.) but this is the second one he's missed because of other engagements. I also have nothing against Homosexuals for the record, i just hate it when people use the word Gay as an insult, my brothers do it constantly and I want to stab them for it.
Dum De Do, anything else happening? I finally was unlazy and wired up my entertainment center again, yay for that I suppose, it made my desk less messy for exactly 2 hours, until other stuff tumbled into where the xbox was, oh well.
If word was installed on my new XP install I would totally spell check this, but i'm really lazy and can't sleep because I'm giddy about my new system.

So it's finally in the process of happening, Artemus is in his last weeks of existence. After 4 years of faithful service, in the past month, he has decided he hates me, and doesn't want to do anything anymore.
He's been randomly restarting to no end, and not kicking video in half the time from sleep. So I've ordered a younger, sexier model.

I'm kind of glad I didn't get the first round of 360s after all the overheating and crash reports of the past day or so. I'll wait until march, when the first round of silent revisions come out and the price drops in preparation for the Revolution launch.
My aunt and uncle got me a boondocks saints style peacoat. I love it.

The xbox 360 comes out tomorrow, you know who wont have one? Me.
Last weekend was great, Ginny came over and it was just warm and cozy and good. Everything that re-affirms my faith in us. She got me a years worth of Gamepro, The MAXX! Volume 1, and Sin City on DVD. I have since ordered issues 2 - 5 of The MAXX, along with a couple christmas presents for various people from amazon.
My parents were going to buy me a car stereo, I kind of turned it down. They already bought me an MP3 player, I'll just use it.
I don't know what else to say.
